Eligibility:
1. MSc Nursing:
Nationality:
Candidates must be Citizens of India / children or dependents of Non-Resident Indians.

Academic:
i) Candidates should have passed BSc Nursing or Post Basic BSc Nursing from any of the Universities in Kerala or from any Universities outside Kerala which is recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala and should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for the qualifying examination.
ii) Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from authorities other than the State of Kerala shall produce the certificate of eligibility and equivalence of the qualifying examination from any University in Kerala.
iii) The norms of eligibility prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council / Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council / Affiliating Universities shall also apply.
iv) Candidates should also have one year's post registration work experience (including internship, if any) as on 30.9.2012, in any hospital having minimum bed strength of 100, or in a School / college of Nursing with Community Health Program.

Age: Applicants should not have completed 45 years of age as on 28.11.2012.

2. PBSc (Nursing):
The candidate should be GNM Diploma holder with 50% marks in aggregate and registered Nurse Midwife from Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. He / She should pass PUC or Plus Two with science subjects. The candidate should be medically fit.
Kerala University of Health Science norms for admission for BSc nursing is as under:

Admission Requirements
The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of: Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course), Or Senior School Certificate Examination(10+2), Pre-Degree Examination (10+2), Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks.(as per INC norms). The Norms of Kerala University of Health Sciences will be applicable. The candidate should have passed 3/31/2 years GNM course and hold valid registration with KNC / INC. Candidate shall be medically fit. Candidate should be in the rank list published by the LBS Centre for Science & Technology for admission to Post Basic BSc Nursing for 2012-13.

Age: Applicants should not have complete 45 years of age on 31st December 2012.

How to Apply:
The application must be submitted in anyone of the following manner.
a) Application forms along with the prospectus can be obtained from any of the colleges mentioned above on payment ( Rs. 800/- for MSc & Rs.500/- for  PBSc) by way of DD drawn in favour of AMSFNCK payable at Ernakulam.

b) Application forms are also available on the website of the Association (www.amsfnck.in) and also in the website of the colleges mentioned above.

c) Filled in applications shall be submitted to any one of the colleges before the last date of receipt of application. Applications can also be sent by registered post acknowledgement due, so as to reach any of the colleges before the last date of receipt of the same. Applications submitted on forms downloaded from the website should be accompanied by a DD for Rs.800/- drawn in favour of AMSFNCK payable at Ernakulam.

d) The last date of receipt of the application to any of the colleges is 26.09.2012.

3. Publication of details on the website: 27.09.2012
4. Counselling and Commencement of admission: 28.09.2012
5. Counselling and admission will continue on 29th and 30th Sept. 2012 if seats are vacant.
