entrance examination for management seats in self financing nursing colleges in kerala

Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC) will conduct an entrance examination for filling up the management seats in 18 self-financing nursing colleges under the Association of the Managements of Self Financing Nursing Colleges of Kerala.

This information was shared by committee chairman Justice J M James during a press conference held here on Thursday.  "Usually, the entrance test is conducted by the association itself. Hence, we asked them to keep us in loop about the procedure of the entrance test. However, the association requested us to conduct the test directly," James informed.

According to him, the association had asked the committee to conduct exam to fill up 121 seats in 18 colleges. However, when Mathrubhumi Education Online contacted association president Fr Sabu Nedunnilath, he said that only 114 vacant seats need to be filled. "When we submitted the details about the entrance test to the committee, there were 121 vacant seats. But later, some students were admitted from the rank list of the entrance exam conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination. At present, there are 114 seats to be filled. The entrace test will give an opportunity to those candidates who could not sit for the test condcuted by CEE," he said.

Interested students can apply online for the entrance test till September 21 by visiting the website . Candidates have to submit the print out of the application at the association office on or before September 21. The admit card will be provided online by the association itself. The exam will be conducted on September 24 at 10.30 am. Maharaja College auditorium has tentativly been fixed as the venue.
