North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong has invited applications for admission to MBBS & BSc (Nursing) Courses of Academic session 2012-13. Admission to these courses is based on separate entrance tests to be conducted on 20 th and 27 th of April.
Candidates seeking admission to the BSc Nursing degree course (basic) should fulfill the following criteria:
1. Should have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination/ Higher Secondary Examination/Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Examination after a period of twelve (12) years of study.
2. Should secure a minimum of 45% marks in each of the four (4) subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually in the 10+2 examination.
3. Should have completed the minimum age of 17 years on or before the 31st December 2012 and not exceeded the maximum age of 25 years as of 31st December 2012.
4. Candidates should be a citizen of India.
Application Form:
Application forms can be obtained from NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong-793018. The cost of Prospectus cum application form is Rs.500/- by DD/BC and Rs.550/- for sending by post for B.Sc Nursing and Rs.600/- and Rs.650 respectively for MBBS. Demand Draft to be made in favour of 'Director, NEIGRIHMS' payable Shillong.

Downloaded application forms duly filled-in may be submitted either by Post or by Hand along with a Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque of Rs.500/- or Rs. 600/- drawn in favour of Director, NEIGRIHMS.
The application complete in all respects accompanied with 1 unstamped self-addressed envelope of 23 × 15cms and all the relevant documents should reach Examination Cell, Director’s Block, NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong-793018, Meghalaya, either personally or by Registered / Speed post on or before 20th April, 2012 (MBBS) and 27th April 2012 (BSc (N).
