Nursing Admission in Kerala 2016

Applications have been invited by the Directorate of Health Services, Kerala, for admission to the General Nursing and Midwifery course of three years duration, starting in October 2016, in the 15 Government Nursing Schools and in the Nursing school exclusively for the SC/ST categories, functioning at Asramam, Kollam. 

The Govt Nursing Schools are located at (i) Trivandrum (ii) Kollam (iii) Govt Nursing School for SC/ST, Asramam, Kollam (iv) Elanthur, Pathanamthitta (v) Muttam, Idukki (vi) Alappuzha (vii) Kottayam (viii) Ernakulam (ix) Kalamassery, Ernakulam (x) Thrissur (xi) Palakkad (xii) Manjeri, Malappuram (xiii) Panamaram, Wayanad (xiv) Kozhikode (xv) Kannur (xvi) Kanhangad, Kasaragod. A total of 405 seats are available, spread over the 14 revenue revenue districts.  

The district-wise seat availability is as follows: 
Thiruvananthapuram-28, Kollam-25, Pathanamthitta-20, Alappuzha-23, Kottayam-20, Idukki-20, Ernakulam-70, Thrissur-28, Palakkad-25, Malappuram-26, Kozhikode-50, Wayanad-20, Kannur-30, Kasaragod-20. In addition to these seats, one each from Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep will be admitted at Ernakulam and Kozhikode (2 seats in each centre).
